On foot
Alto Vetro can be reached in 15 minutes on foot from St Stephen’s Green. Walk up Merrion Row, Baggot St Lower, Baggot St Upper and take a left onto Herbert Place. Continue straight until you reach Grand Canal Street, then cross over to walk along Grand Canal Quay. Alto Vetro is on your right.

By car
From St. Stephen’s Green continue eastwards along Nassau Street from Trinity College (city centre), take a slight left onto Fenian Street. Turn left onto Sandwith Street Upper. Turn right onto Pearse Street. Turn right onto Grand Canal Quay. Alto Vetro is on your left

By bus
The main Dublin Bus routes that serve Alto Vetro from the city centre are the 1, 4, 7, 8 and 47 from O’Connell Street and O’Connell Bridge.

By DART 
Dublin’s local rail service (DART) stops at Grand Canal Dock station, which is less than a 5-minute walk from Alto Vetro. From Dublin city centre, visitors to Alto Vetro can take the DART southbound from Pearse Station, Tara St Station or Connolly Station. Connolly Station provides a link with the city’s light rail service, the LUAS.

From the M50 motorway, take Exit No. 9 (N7 – Naas Road Exit/Dublin City Centre). Continue along the R110 onto the R810, and turn right onto R812 (Davitt Road). Follow the R812 until it meets the R111, then turn right and continue along R111 (Dolphin Road). Continue on R111 (The Grand Canal is on your left hand side) Travel alongside the canal to Baggot Street Bridge. Continue straight onto Haddington Road until you come to a Y junction with Slattery’s Public House in front of you. Keep to the left of Slattery’s onto South Lotts Road. Turn left at the junction of South Lotts Road and Ringsend Road. Take a left onto Grand Canal Quay, and Alto Vetro is on your left. 

Dublin Airport is 13.5km from Alto Vetro. The Air Coach provides a 24-hour coach service from Dublin Airport to Mackin Street with a stop at The Maldron Hotel, only a 2-minute walk away. Taxis are available outside the arrival hall at Dublin Airport. 

Travelling by car from Dublin Airport:

Head southwest and turn left onto R132. At the roundabout take the 3rd exit. At the next roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto the M1 ramp to An Lár/City Centre. Merge onto M1 and continue onto M50. Continue straight onto East Wall Road/ R131, go through one roundabout and cross the river to the East Link toll bridge. At the next roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto Sean Moore Road/R131, keeping right to stay on this road. Take the 1st turn right onto Beach Road/R131/R802, then turn right onto Irishtown Road/R 802. Cross the Grand Canal Dock and take the immediate left run onto Grand Canal Quay. Alto Vetro will be on your left.
