- Directions from city centre
On foot
Clancy Quay can be reached on foot in just over 25 minutes from Temple Bar, by walking along Wellington Quay (R148) on the south bank of the River Liffey. Turn left onto Chapelizod Bypass/St John’s Road West to continue on R148. Turn right onto South Circular Road (R111) and Clancy Quay is on your right.
By car
From St Stephen’s Green, head west on York Street and turn right at Mercer Street Upper. Turn left onto Bow Lane East, then turn right onto Aungier Street. Continue onto South Great George’s Street (R114) then turn left onto Dame Street (R137) and continue straight onto High Street (R108). Follow the R108 onto Bridge Street Upper. Turn left onto Chapelizod Bypass/Usher’s Quay (R148), then a slight left onto Chapelizod Bypass/ St John’s Road West (R148). Take a slight right to stay on Chapelizod R148, then turn right onto South Circular Road (R111). Clancy Quay will be on your right.
By bus
The following buses serve Parkgate Street, a 15-minute walk away from Clancy Quay: Dublin Bus Nos 25, 26, 66, 66a, 66b, 67, 69. From Parkgate Street, cross the river and head west on Chapelizod Bypass/St. John’s Road West/R148 toward South Circular Road/R111. Turn right onto South Circular Road/R111. Clancy Quay will be on your right.
By LUAS
Dublin’s light rail network, the LUAS (Red Line) stops at Heuston Station, approximately 15 minutes walk from Clancy Quay. From Heuston Station head west on Chapelizod Bypass/St. John’s Road West/R148 toward South Circular Road/R111. Turn right onto South Circular Road/R111. Clancy Quay will be on your right.
- Directions from M50 motorway (ring road)
From the M50 motorway, take Exit No. 9 (N7 – Naas Road Exit/Dublin City Centre). Continue along the R110 onto the R810, and turn right onto R812 (Davitt Road). Follow the R812 until it meets the R111, then turn left onto R111. Continue along R111 as it joins the South Circular Road through Kilmainham Village. Keep travelling straight along R111 as it passes through the Chapelizod ByPass (R148). Clancy Quay will be on your right hand side.

Dublin Airport is 12.5km from Clancy Quay. The Airlink 747 connects Dublin Airport with Heuston Station, a 15 minute walk from Clancy Quay. From Heuston Station head west on Chapelizod Bypass/St. John’s Road West/R148 toward South Circular Road/R111. Turn right onto South Circular Road/R111. Clancy Quay will be on your right. Taxis are available outside the arrival hall at Dublin Airport.
Travelling by car from Dublin Airport:
Head southwest, then turn right onto Swords Road/R132. Take a slight left onto Coolock Lane/R104. At the roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto the N1 ramp to City Centre/Dublin Port, then merge onto N1. Continue onto King Street North/R804 and turn left onto Queen Street, staying on R804. Turn right onto Chapelizod Bypass/St John’s Road West (R148), then turn right onto South Circular Road. Clancy Quay will be on your right.
